Who is MJMK?
MJMK was founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, with the launch of Casa do Frango in London Bridge, inspired by Marco’s Portuguese heritage and fond memories of his upbringing in southern Portugal.
MJMK has grown with a collection of award-winning London brands, from the Michelin-starred KOL to Lisboeta, Nuno Mendes’ love letter to Lisbon.
We spoke to MJMK’s Finance Director, Graham Harris, on the challenges of scaling their business, leading Head Office to streamline their operations and align with restaurant managers to ensure everyone was on the same page.
